Maureen Bonner will lead this service on "Tu B'Shevat", a holiday that is celebrated on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat.  Modern-day celebgrations of this holiday are celebrated by planting trees and recognizing the importance of the environment. 

 

There will be classes for the children.

Mystery, Wonder, Mysticism: An Awakening

Mysticism could be thought of as the conscious or subconscious entering into the awesome mystery and wonder of the universe. As Unitarian Universalist we’ve had a mixed relationship with our a mystical side. Today we’ll celebrate and articulate this mystical streak within us. 

Solstice service

We will celebrate the shortest days of the year by coming together as a Fellowship to recognize the changes in the season and celebrate the lightness and darkness around us. We will also decorate the sanctuary with ornaments made during the service.  There will be a potluck after the service, as well as we will be decorating gingerbread houses!
